I recently purchased a used rack and rebuilt it to go in my car. Now that's done, I have the old TT steering rack laying around. I had to cut one of the hard lines on it so it'll need to be replaced ($11 from Courtesy Nissan). I got a rebuild kit from an online store and a couple boots which set me back about $100 in the end. So I figure $60 is a good price for this rack. It comes with the tie rods but no ends. Not looking to ship. Cash is king.

If you ever thought about taking your Z to the track, by a track I mean a Road Course. You won't be going in a straight line, you won't always be going left. You'll be making rights and lefts and going straight. You'll be on track for 4, 20-30 minute sessions depending on the club you may get 5 sessions and some clubs run 30 minute sessions. Here in the Northeast I'm talking about places like Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, New Jersey Motor Sports Park, Summit Point, Monticello and Pocono. If you ever ...

The stock 9006 low beam bulb looks like this from the side:

I chose the Silvania Silverstar 9005 S/T bulbs for the project. Cost about $40/pair.

The 9005 S/T is 1700 lumens compared to 1000 lumens for the 9006, and has a color temp of 4000K.

Looking straight on at the tip of the bulb, here is the view of the tabs on the 9006 (stock low ...

Hello, I'm Gary, and I'm a car addict. I was referred here by Pete, a 280Z owner I met at the hogs and hotrods carshow in Rahway last summer. I'm new to this forum, but have been on hybridZ, and NICO for a while...

I have an (early) 74' 260Z that I'm currently working on- It came from texas so the only major rust is in the floorpans... The car is currently in pieces in my garage as I'm derusting/priming the car for paint.

future plans include a sr20det swap (going for light and balanced) ...

I am an avid z31 enthusiast and original owner of a 1985 Turbo which is currently undergoing modifications --- some completed, some still in progress. I'm hoping to make some friends here and perhaps get to meet a few in person, as I can see there are several from my home state. My passion is to get my car up to a performance level that can match some of today's Z's and get to know more about my car from some with expertise here on the forum. I would love to upload some images ...
