Yeah, coming from an electronics background I understand mean time between failures and also anomalies between samples. Injectors are probably pretty simple devices in reality, but I'm thinking if mine all came out of the same "lot", then they all have approx the same life expectancy and now I have an indicator that it's not as long as I would like.

PM me with a price on the 4 you have.

Motor ran fine for a few weeks after getting the injector replaced, but now I have intermittent stumbling at low RPMs and I can feel misfires while holding constant RPMs (interstate driving).

Any ideas on what could be causing intermittent misfires? This is more frustrating than a dead injector which at least you can pinpoint to a specific cylinder. An intermittent misfire is, well.... intermittent (man I'm eloquent).

Steve

i think the best bet is to replace all at once.

i did one, cleaned all contacts and it ran great for a week than they all went out 1 than 2 at a time nissan did a fuel system cleaning on the car i do not recamend a fuel system cleaning at pine belt nissan in toms river nj

ran good till they did 120k mile service on car screwed it all up,,

parts of the oil pump were busted off from them changing the front main seal the peaces were sitting in plastic pan with screwdiver indents on the busted peices, massave oil leak caught late cause my mother used the car once a week.

well it turned out to be a plug vs. injector. I got in there and before removing the injector I ohm'ed it out and it read 11 ohms so I figured it must be something else and found the bad plug. I have 83K and never replaced my plugs so now it's time I guess.

If I do have any more injectors fail, I am going to remove the plenum and do them all, plus do the water line and EGR deletes and put on a plenum I have in my garage that I'm going to polish up so it will be ready to swap in when I need it.

dammit man, your car is telling you that it wants to be swapped to a twinturbo so you can switch to a newer type of large injectors.. :)btw stay away from ethanol supplied gas stations if you can,

No doubt on both counts! I really hate driving in VA and SC... At least they are keeping ethanol out of NC pumps...
