| First let me say, yes I know street racing is wrong. I normally go to the track but when I went out for a cruise last night the last thing on my mind was a race. I went out into town to see what I had missed with being away for the past 6 months. Upon arrival I get the typical Honda, Acrua, Mazda, Mitsubishi that comes up revving their engine to try to get you to race them. I go about my way taking some snapshots of the Z with a storm building in the background. I head back out to the circuit. After two laps a black Honda Civic comes flying up next to me. Revving his engine the driver and the passenger stare at me. I ignore them and drop back laughing to myself, figuring they'll take the hint and leave me alone. Wrong-o! They go flying past me and hit the brakes to slow down and pace me again. I look over at them. The passenger smiles and the drives asks "you wanna race?" I laugh and reply with "you want to race me in that? A civic?" and laugh some more. These kids are all of 16 and have no idea. They rev it again so I can here the super-charger. I laugh again. He drops back behind me, Soooooo I figured I could use some fun with the way my week has gone. I drop down into 2nd and slow to 2500RPM. The kid floors his little rice burner. I hit the gas. By the time I was at the end of 2nd gear I had 4 going on 5 car lengths on him...Lol. He finially catches up to me and paces me again asking what I have done to the car. I laugh again and tell him not much she's basically stock. He asks to race again I tell him no we flew past a cop the first time it time to take a break and hang low for a little, maybe later. Well I find a place to sit and watch the cars. Go figure I see the same Civic lining up with a CRX, guess who's beside them as the start to race...a undercover cop...lol. Needless to say when I was leaving the parking lot the undercover cop passed me, with the passangers in the rear of the car...lol. I had my camera god I wish I would have video taped it. _________________ another day another notch in the Z belt...lol |

| Nice kill story! So what is the rules about posting about "street encounters"? Some sites don't mind it and have a disclaimer about not endorsing or condoning such acts, but will allow its members to talk about it. Other sites ban it all together and not one peep of any kind of spirited driving with another vehicle can be mentioned. |

| well if you want to post about it go ahead. I honestly don't agree with street racing and take most of my urge out at the track but as you can see some times i don't. _________________ another day another notch in the Z belt...lol |

Cool. I spend most of my time at the track as well. Every once and a while something pops up on the street thats too good to pass up. lol_________________ "Therein lies the beauty of dreams. | When I'm in the Z-32, I just tell 'em to read what's on the right rear -- got it? T-W-I-N T-U-R-B-O If that's not enough, we punch up high boost on the controller and let 'em hear two Tials blowing off. Beats the "ping" of their puny blow off. It's a "my daddy is bigger than your daddy" sound game, and the 300 pretty much wins at that. Then we have the '03 -- that one is deafening in the game -- compressor whine alone is tremendous on a rev, but when I turn the single Tial loose it sounds like King Kong's bullwhip (presuming he might have a monster bull whip) cracking. Utter sound intimidation! And if they still insist and the street is safe, two gears and they're toast -- tap brake lights. LOL... here's what the '03 sounds like just driving around the block in my neighborhood... http://tere.net/t-z/tere350zsc-1.MPG_________________ Tere and the current Z Car inventory 2007 San Marino Blue 350Z Touring Roadster - WHIZZY 2003 Blown Brickyard Performance 350Z (Approx. | Z cars are so cool. I feel so sorry for the average minivan driver -- don't know all the fun they're missing. _________________ Tere and the current Z Car inventory 2007 San Marino Blue 350Z Touring Roadster - WHIZZY 2003 Blown Brickyard Performance 350Z (Approx.
