Hello, I'm Gary, and I'm a car addict. I was referred here by Pete, a 280Z owner I met at the hogs and hotrods carshow in Rahway last summer. I'm new to this forum, but have been on hybridZ, and NICO for a while...
I have an (early) 74' 260Z that I'm currently working on- It came from texas so the only major rust is in the floorpans... The car is currently in pieces in my garage as I'm derusting/priming the car for paint.
future plans include a sr20det swap (going for light and balanced) and possibly using a 240sx suspension and drivetrain)
I look forward to meeting other classic Z owners! (does anyone here own the 240Z on Washington ave on the border of piscataway?- a buddy of mine lives over there and I always saw that car/wondered about it)

Going for balance and weight reduction with a sr20det. While the redtop pictured may go in a s13 If I can find one, I'll score a later blacktop and have it built to 2.2L on an overbore. The nice thing is the engines so small it allows for a v mount radiator/intercooler setup
the interior is currently gutted, tho I haven't gotten to the dash yet. I hate rust!
