| I would like to introduce myself to the group. I just found out about this site from Evan. I see a lot of familiar people that used to be on another sight:). I have a 1990 TT Straman conversion. I love to tinker with this thing constantly. I have helped a couple of other Z owners in the area get their cars running. Looking forward to being a part of the group. | I was lucky when I bought this I had no idea what it was until I did some looking after I bought the Z. I have not been able to find much except for a couple of articals. There is a guy in California that has 2 and has seen mine when it was out there. He is trying to keep track of the owners but I don't here a lot from him.

| Welcome Clay glad to see ya here. I also looked up the Straman conversions, i really liked the way they looked. The one i saw was a picture of an article and it was a 2+2. |

| welcome, but you have to explain, because i'm very confused. 1. how is a 1990 a vert? 2. what is a straman? it's obviously a motor swap, but does this mean it was once a COUPE?! _________________ -Stephen |

| THe Straman is a factory TT that was sent from the dealership to the Straman company and the made it into a convertible. I have been told that there were 44 TT conversions and 28 NA conversions done. The company is no longer in business but they made a very good converson.

| I will get more pics when she is back together. Right now I am installing a set of HKS2830R turbos, 555 injectors and a Dual Pop intake. Work is hectic this week but i hope to have it running by the end of the weekend. I am waiting for the chip to be delivered from a guy who sold his Z in Canada.

| CLAY IS IN THE BUILDING!!! Welcome Clay! I think that you will love it here. I have been doing a lot of trolling and little posting, but that will soon change once I get some more free time. Also, Clay is a MASTER Z TECH who works for pennies on the dollar! He is more interested in keeping Z's on the road, than making a living from fixing Z's.
Long story short, he is a good man and even better friend!
